I need help - I have a threat that was found. I am trying to 'unlock' at the bottom, so I can 'cleanup.' However, clicking on teh lock wont unlock it. Please help.

What exactly is happening? Does it prompt for a username and password and just shake that it's not correct?
If you're a standard user that would be expected. See this demo:
The post below explains it too.
I think it is - a bug. It just happened to me. The Mac was 10.7.5, SAV 9.0.5.
You click on the padlock to try and unlock the SAV preferences and the icon (padlock) flickers for a second and does nothing. If I open System Preferences and try and unlock a panel there, there is no problem.
I resolved the problem by shutting down the Mac, and then powering it up again.
I'll have to see if it happens again.
I'm having the same problem as grizo1222. I installed OSX Mavericks and noted problems with SAV. Tried to unistall and can't do that. Tried to clear a threat twice before and couldn't unlock the loc, then no sign of the threat. occurred again today.
Note I am very technically unsavvy and skitterish at trying to go into the terminal and do anything without pretty detailed directions.

This hasn't happened since - it was a one-ff for me... though I have upgrading the Mac to 10.9 recently so that would have reshuffled the deck a fair bit :smileyhappy:
