I am setting up a UTM at home, when I give it a hostname does it need to be resolvable across the internet?

You can also override local hostname for SMTP HELO/EHLO and banner needs in SMTP Advanced section.
You still need to set the hostname to something internet resolvable as the MX record has to point to the utm or e-mail doesn't work well.
I'm only setting up for small home network without a mail server. So I take it this will not be an issue for me?
