UTM Home Hostname

I currently have dyndns setup on my dlink router, but when I put in the UTM in I will be setting the router to bridging mode so will dyndns need to be setup on utm instead?

In case it matters, I have my home UTM configured to work with freeDNS.afraid.org for dynamic DNS services. I disabled it once the UTM took over. 

Dynamic DNS with freedns.afraid.org was trivial to configure on the UTM. Simply put, it just works, and there are no strings attached to freedns.afraid.org services. 

(Before I set up the UTM to maintain IP address updates, I had to write some custom code to get it to work from my home server.)

I recommend freedns.afraid.org because it is truly free. For many years I used DynDNS, and briefly tried No-IP. Those services changed as they attempted to monetize their users. These days, their "free" services require you to open your browser and connect (login) at least once every 30 days. They also send lots of spam email. I appreciate their past free services, but they can no longer be considered "free". Now, they are simply a pain in the ...."
