IPOD Touch music previews not working from Itunes Store

Whenever we try to use our any of our IPOD Touches and try to preview music from the Itunes store, we get an error message "Could not play preview".  I can preview movies.   I tried to create a NAT rule and when I set the Traffic Source, Service and Destination as (Any) the preview works but it kills my internet connection.  Where can I find out what rule I need to create to get the previews to work and have it not kill my internet connection.  Thanks in Advance!

    You need to create a packet filter rule to allow the traffic on the ports being blocked. In version 8.202 go to NetSecurity > Firewall...

    Open the live log and type the ip of your iPod to filter only that traffic, then try to open the previews on your iPod, note the ports being blocked.

    Create a new packet filter rule and allow those ports.

    It looks like it wants to use ports 1900 and 5351.  I have tried to create a rule for those ports but it still does not work.  Is there something else happening with those ports where I cannot override the blocking of those ports?

    Where can I find the full log? Are you talking about the web filtering logs?

    The device at 192.168.2.204 appears to be misconfigured - it should not be sending traffic for 192.168.2.100 to your Astaro.  Hmmm...

    That is, unless you have the HTTP Proxy selected in the WiFi setup on the iPod.  If so, then you need to add the services "1:65535->1900" and "1:65535->5351" to 'Allowed target services' on the 'Advanced' tab of 'Web Filtering' (HTTP/S).

    Did that resolve your issue?

    I am not using an Astaro wireless access point.  I added a wireless linksys router configured as an access point to a switch.  This may be the reason it is going to 192.168.2.100?   I cannot find any HTTP Proxy settings on the IPOD Touch.   I added the services to the Web Filtering and it still is not working.  I am noticing that I am not seeing the ports being filtered in the log every time I try to execute a music preview.  Is there anything else that may be getting blocked that I may be missing? Is there any way to see all network traffic from this specific device?  I have tried this with the other 2 ipod touches and they all do not work.  Any other ideas?  Thank you very much for your assistance!

    I figure this is the same on the iPod as on my iPhone.  In the iPhone, you can configure the various WiFi connections you use.  At the bottom of that, you find the proxy settings.

    Since this traffic appears to be passing via Web Filtering, please show a line or two from that log relative to this traffic.

    If .2.104 is an iPod, then you definitely have it configured to pass via the Proxy.  However, I can't see anything that indicates a block or incompatibility with the Proxy.  If there's nothing in the Intrusion Prevention log, I have no idea what the problem might be.
