Unable to install 9.3

I built a new Sophos UTM.  I built a new VPN.  It is routing my VPN traffic with no issues.  Today it discovered that there were updates.  I clicked "Update to latest version now".  It rebooted and installed only 9.2.  So, I clicked "Update to latest version now" again to install 9.3.  It shows a ! for "Pre-installation checks" and never gets beyond this.  I rebooted the box and tried to install again.  No change.  I am unable to install 9.3.  What do you suggest?

    Here's your reason. You upgraded to 9.210. The upgrade to 9.3 is at this time only available from 9.209 not from 9.210.

  • I am in the same boat as magd168.
    I tried to restore from the backup I made prior to the updates.
    I get a restore successful, but I am still on 9.210.
    So, I guess the backup does not include the firmware?
  • Backup's only contain the UTM config, nothing else.
  • same here... I also tried to downgrade to 9.2.09 but didn't worki either...
  • You cannot downgrade except by re-installing from ISO.  The official 9.210 to 9.3x up2date is expected next week.  See How to update to Sophos UTM v9.3.

  • Unless these bugs are affecting you or you need a new 9.3 feature, it is not really something to worry about and just wait for the next Up2date;

    Bugfixes

    30142 [BETA] SPX: spx encryption can not handle some greek characters
    33258 Cluster smtpd restarting permanently (segfaults and core dumps)
    33662 Quota Status page does not work when ha->status set to ‘zeroconf’
    33812 Quota proceed on a url with ‘&’ will not work
    33911 Up2Date not possible with essential license
  • Here's your reason. You upgraded to 9.210. The upgrade to 9.3 is at this time only available from 9.209 not from 9.210.

    Can someone confirm this?   Why does 9.210 exist if I can't upgrade from it?  The UI doesn't indicate this.  The UI leads me to believe that it will all patches.
