Hi, Mika, and welcome to the User BB!

It looks like your Up2Date file didn't come through correctly.  You'll need to delete it from the command line before you can continue.  It's only a guess, but I'd also delete the rpm that's broken:

cd /var/up2date
rm sys-install/u2d-sys-9.103005/rpms/ep-reporting-c-9.10-16.g34a1220.i686.rpm
cd sys
rm u2d-sys-9.102008-103005.tgz.gpg
wget ftp.astaro.de/.../u2d-sys-9.102008-103005.tgz.gpg
/sbin/auisys.plx --showdesc

After that, you can restart the Up2Date in WebAdmin.  Let us know how things work out.

So it appears that the update still did not apply correctly.

Also during this session, I realized there's another problem.  Possibly related or a symptom of a larger problem.  It seems like DNS is not resolving in Astaro.  I've tried rebooting the host but it still does not resolve.  Again, I'm not sure where to start troubleshooting.

Thank you for your response Barry.  

This is set up in a home environment, no Active Directory or other DNS servers except for Astaro.  DNS is currently set up as follows:

Under DNS on the Global tab I have my 2 internal networks allowed.

In the DNS forwarders tab, I have entered Google's DNS servers (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) and also have "Use forwarders assigned by ISP" selected.

The DHCP server is assigning clients 2 DNS servers:  Astaro's and Google's.

In the firewall, I have a rule to allow DNS from internal networks to any destination.

So right now, clients behind the firewall are able to resolve DNS from Google's server.  But the Astaro box itself still cannot resolve names.

Any thoughts on this?  If it comes down to it, I may just rebuild the server and restore from backup.

Given the earlier issue, that's what I'd do... maybe after running memory and disk tests out of healthy paranoia. [;)]

Fwiw, if you want it to use Google, you should uncheck that option.
