[8.960][CLOSED] HTML5 VPN rdp connection throws an error

Hi BERT,

please enable debugging mode via the following CLI commands:

• cc
  
• remote_access
  
• clientless_vpn
  
• debug
  
• =1
  
• quit
  
• /var/mdw/scripts/screenmgr restart
  

then try to connect again and post the output of /var/log/html5vpn.log here.

What kind of RDP security and what Browser do you use? Did you clear your Browser cache before trying to connect?

i got this error with the settings in the screenshot attached, it worked again after changing the "security layer" setting to "negotiate"

i have tested this on a win2k8r2 server

Hi,
my RDP sessions keeps disconnecting with an error in the browser.
i simply get en websocket error and the debug log reports the following:

2012:05:31-14:00:28 ranger screenmgr[19484]: Client keystroke: 0x67 (103)
2012:05:31-14:00:29 ranger screenmgr[19484]: Client 0: disconnected: Connection reset by peer

the browser used is Firefox 12 on windows 7. chrome allso fails but it does not give me an error popup.

another thing that i noticed is that a lot of mouse click simply do not get trough to the Terminal server during somewhat screen activity, this makes it feel way more slow than the screen actually is.

for me it looks like your RDP server is closing the session due to an either failing socket or protocol security negotiation.
But anyway I'd like you to upgrade to the latest BETA release 8.965 which includes some general changes for the HTML5 VPN Portal. In addition to that I'd like you to take screenshots of both configurations - the failing and the succeding one -  of your win2k8 server. This may help us with any further debugging.
