XG Home interface issues

I switched from UTM 9.x to the (for me) new XG Home.

Its an old PC working under UTM perfect with

- 2x 1port 1Gb Cards (cant remember from which company, nothing on the cards)

- 1x 4port 1Gb Card HP NC364T

Now, after installing XG Home, the boot screen shows (see below):

Total number of interfaces: 6

but i cant connect to the firewall on any port, doesn’t matter which card.

Only if i remove the 4port card i can connect to the firewall, just want know if its the Intel problem?

be irritated because the Boot screen shows correct number of interfaces.

    with the 1x 4port 1Gb Card HP NC364T he switches Port 1-4 to this interface and i can connect to it.

    Website shows me all interfaces, but with ethtool he shows me on Port5 and Port6: Link detected: no

    doesnt matter if the cable is in or not

    I cannot follow your comment.

    You should use the console and do one cable per interface and check, which of the Port Numbers this port actually is.

    if the 1x 4port 1Gb Card HP NC364T is attached, he switches Port1 and Port2 (before on 2 1x1GBit interfaces) to the 1x 4port 1Gb Card HP NC364T. It shows on Port1-4 ports Link detected: yes from up to down on the HP interface.

    it seems the 2x 1GBit are now on Port5 and Port6 but shows now: Link detection:no doesn’t matter if a cable is connected or not. only the green Led shines on these both interfaces if the HP interface is atteched.

    Port7 i dont have and ethtool shows me it doesnt exist, so i think Port1 and Port2 without the HP is now Port 5 or 6.

    You should re do this with only one cable. Then take a notepad and map every result. This should give you an idea, what is going on.

    Doesn’t matter which Port i try in ethtool, if the cable is in one of the both 1x1GBit i only got Link detected:no

    Only if the HP interface is attached too. ;(
