XG Home interface issues

Hi,

did you have any of the ports connected during installation? Do you remember which port you assigned the internal network to during installation? You can logon to the console and check configuration from that screen.

The HP NC364T uses the Intel 82571EB chipset, which should be supported by the kernel driver "E1000E".

Did you try to connect to "Port 0" while installing?

don't have any port connected during installation.

how to check config from this screen? 

while installation from UTM i was asked which port should be used for which kind, but here it just said i need 2 interfaces and i couldn’t choose anything.

no, didn’t know which port is chosen as Port0. 

shall i reinstall with connected ports?

Sorry for the delay (waiting everytime a long time because of 2TB HDD),

i have done several installations, in my case it accept no connections on install till boot screen or only Lan on Slot1 and WAN on Slot2 to connect to the webinterface.

none worked with the 1x 4port 1Gb Card HP NC364T!

Always boot shows correct number of interfaces, but on no port/interface you can connect to the firewall.

i found another card, 1x1GBit noname, work well with the 3x 1GBit cards, but i need more Ports.

Check on the CLI via ethtool, which interfaces are actually connected. Could be a mismatch of expected and actual interfaces.
