out of date

I have 3 or 4 same endpoints are reported as being out of date virtually every week in Sophos Central yet forcing an update does not update them. Why does this keep happening to the same PC's? why does Update not work from Sophos Central.

if I click on Status for the device it reports re-installing on the endpoint as a solution. Ive tried this once on one PC and now it doesn't even register in Sophos Central.

    I've had the same issue. I'm not surprised that no one replied to this from Sophos. I truly like this product but where this company lacks is the support. There are so many bugs with this Central product. Even the on prem version has had so many issues which were never resolved. We unfortunately have a contract for a couple of more years with Sophos but once it's up, I don't think we'll look back.  

  • i'm also seeing it.  out of a couple hundred clients, a few report out of date each day.  it differs as to which machines.  they are powered on and being used by the end user.  pushing the latest updated from central doesn't resolve the warning.

  • We get these alerts for one of our Customers almost on a daily basis.

     

    Some of the machines are taken offline (switched off or are loan laptops).

    But our RDP Server if NOT manually updated would send this alert Daily.

    But I also get them on machines online.

     

    Any chance of the Fix being rolled out any day soon?

  • i have the same problem, on many PC's and server, manual updating must be done on the PC's so that they are updated

  • I have had a ticket open on this for months and the last email I got stated "The projected date for the release is late January 2018 barring any unforeseen circumstances."

     

    I get the same email every other day for the same machines.  I have not found any correlation on why or how it is happening.  I also wish they would break out program updates and definition updates instead of calling them both "updates"

    Only recently started migrating to Sophos Central but we have a few servers already that are always online but keep coming up every day or two saying they are out of date.

    In my instance it always appears to be the Agent that has not updated for 1-2 days, but if I click to manually update it does seem to resolve it.

  • This is suppose to be resolved tomorrow. I have had a ticket open with Sophos support and I was told this will be resolved on December 9th. Let's see how true this is.
