What does this suresignal box do? Does it talk to the Internet? On what ports? Does it expect in-bound connections from the Internet, because that will require a DNAT Rule. Do you see any firewall or web filter drops associated with it?
We will need to know more about what this application is trying to do before we can make useful suggestions.
It's a box supplied by Vodafone that plugs in to the Internet and boosts mobile signal - I have tracked its IP and opened all ports out and in to the box for ALL services.....still no joy....
So this Box is plugged into the internal Nework and gets an IP via DHCP? Accoding to a quick research I have done, you have to add some DNAT rules: 123 UDP, 319 UDP, 3478 UDP, 500 UDP, 4500 UDP, all pointing to your SureSignal box.
You should also check the IPS log (if enabled).

Tom, I suspect that this device "calls home" instead of waiting for traffic to arrive. In that case, no DNAT is used, only Firewall Rules to allow the outbound traffic. If you don't already have connectivity, then that's your issue. I'm sure you already have DNS taken care of.
Start with "VSS" = {internal IP of the device}, "VSS-N1" = 212.183.133.176/30, "VSS-N2" = 212.183.133.180/30 and "VSS-N3" = 212.183.131.128/26. The services already are defined.
i have several of these boxes running outside (in Germany).
What can couse problems is not only the IP connection side, it can be also a cellular radio trouble.
The box starts working first, if it founds his entered neighbor cells. That means vodafone have defined real mobile cells, wich have to be found by the suresignal box. If this happend, the box will start to work. if not, the box will search and powercycle as long as it needs to find the correct neighborhood. This looks like a connection problem, but it isn't!
For me helps a call @ vodafone to correct the neihgborhood entrys.
Why they do that? bec. they have to controll where this cells are placed and due this mechanism you are not able to move the box to any other place.
