ASG220 and DSL PPPoE Not Connecting

I just had to switch me service provider to Bell and now have their Bell Communication Hub DSL modem. I worked with Bell to verify that their modem is in bridged mode and we connected a laptop and verified we could browse the Internet. Now I plug the Astaro in, created an interface of PPPoE, put in login credentials but it will not connect. I have a static IP from Bell but I tried putting it in the Interface configuration and still nothing. This interface is also my Default Gateway. 

I'm stuck with an office full of people with no access. ny help would be appreciated.

    What is the MTU size defined for the pppoe? Please post a screenshot of the relevant interface configuration as well as the relevant log

    Half the IP and username were removed for photo but are really filled in normally.

    Does your service provider needs to have MTU set 1476?Can you try to set mtu to 1436 instead?

     Also remove the 60 seconds and 05:00 daily reconnect if not specifically needed.

    Are you sure you have a static PPPoE ip and not automatically defined by vendor?

    - no I will change it to 1436

    -removed the 05:00 but its either 5 sec, 60 sec, or 15 mins

    - yes we do, I verified with Bell earlier. Bell said I could leave it blank because the username and password is how they assign the static addresses, so I unchecked it.

    Are you sure your connection supports Very High Bitrate Digital Subscriber Lines (VDSL)?If it does then Bell should provide the MTU size for you ( 1476 is the default MTU for VDSL). If not then please uncheck

    also normal MTU size for pppoE is 1492 (not VDSL) so you can try this as well

    Set daily reconnect set to "never" and he interval to 5 and post the log again

    remove static PPPoE if  they said you pick-up the ip by username (means static DHCP)
    remove VDSL
    set the mtu 1492
    remove asymetric

    and write back the result

    Here are the update pics. Every time I uncheck VDSL and save it re-checks itself. I know that VDSL is the mode the DSL modem is running in because I checked earlier.

    daily reconnect put in 12:00 am or none
    to uncheck VDSL put the interface down

    VDSL is handled by the modem, the PPOE is handled by Astaro

    It won't save any changes even with the interface disabled.




    Ok I went ahead and cloned the settings you specified to a new interface and it works. Now it says its Up and connected but I still can't ping any external websites from the astaro.
