Notifications not working

If you use TLS you need to use port 587

Thanks but that's strange as i use ssl/tls in my mail client with port 465 and it works
whatever, not other choice than to test so i fullfill 587 in astaro and i will see the result tomorrow as there is no connection test available for testing it immediatly

That were a god idea, but still no notification.
Is there a way to see a useful log for tracing the problem ?

There is no way to track smtp errors ?

Under notifications, have you enabled smart host?

I don't see smart host option, so i guess you mean what is explained in this dedicated document https://support.astaro.com/support/images/1/1b/305442.pdf, is that it ?

In the meantime, i test to disable External SMTP server to verify if it's working again as before.
After i will test this smart host approach

It's not working either.
I finally find  in the "admin notifications" logs some informations when notifications began to not work :

but not much details to find the solution...
and now the newest logs are empty...

I think i correctly defined smtp rules in the packet filter but just in case, what ip address or interface should i allow for smtp traffic going out ?

I will do a test with Smarthost settings available in the advanced tab of Mail security/SMTP

If you aren't using Mail Security, you can specify a Smart Host for notifications on the 'Advanced' tab of 'Management >> Notifications'.

Ict that will solve your issue.  If not, please post the relevant lines from your SMTP log.
