the SoftRelease of UTM 9.309 can be found on the FTP server...

Bugfixes:

    31646 Hotspot drops Radius authentication requests
    33320 Wireless Protection 'Password of the Day' feature is generating passwords that are offensive
    33803 Webadmin stopped working from time to time
    34258 (VxLAN) Wifi performance issue after update with separate zone cause a wrong MTU used
    34296 Postgres connections running out due hotspotd DB connects
    34302 SG W-Appliances: Not possible to assign a Bridge to AP LAN SSID to internal WIFI
    34382 Client is unable to get an IP address from UTM DHCP server in seperate zone network
    34383 Wireless clients connecting to a separate zone network are unable to receive DHCP replies from the UTM
    34415 mdw crash when configuring radius for local wifi

    Hi guys,

    I just rolled it out on customers installation today, they have mixed AP15 and AP50's.

    They use a single VMWARE host for running a virtual UTM installation, and there is NO issues at all, the performance on seperate zones networks are good.

    DL: 20.52Mbps and UP: 44:36 (Customers line is at heavy load on the DL side right now, that's why the difference! - but it works - FINALLY it works :-) )

    Maybe my AP50 at home is broken, whereas I do not get this throughput at all here, only 3Mbit....but most important is, that the customers are happy :-)

    What exactly is your WIFI issue ? For me 9.309 finally fixed the separate zone issue...it now runs fine even with a MTU of 1500.

    I am not in a separate zone configuration, mine is bridged with an AP30.  After a specific update, my Android and wireless devices just sit and connect, disconnect, connect, disconnect.  I've never had any issues like this until I updated, and now wireless is absolutely useless to me.

    Wifi was re-flashed, removed and re-added, changed, and it does the same thing over and over.

    Hi,

    I'm currently running at home with 9.1x and an AP30.

    If I install 9.3x, and have wireless problems, can I go back to 9.1x or will the AP30's firmware be 'upgraded' and not work with 9.1x anymore?

    @Barry:  You'd most likely have to go through the AP firmware reset process to drop back to 9.1x firmware.

    The firmware will be downgraded, I tested with AP50, it just recognizes that the firmware version is wrong, and reflashes automatically [;)]

    Two things:

    1) Do you have Fast Transitioning enabled? (My Squeezebox players did the above, beacause of this)

    2) If not the above, try attach the AP directly to the UTM interface.

    We updated to 9.309-3 last night on one of our 320s. Our 4 AP30s are still not working correctly using separate zones.

    Amazing how much time and money this has cost us.
