the SoftRelease of UTM 9.309 can be found on the FTP server...

Bugfixes:

    31646 Hotspot drops Radius authentication requests
    33320 Wireless Protection 'Password of the Day' feature is generating passwords that are offensive
    33803 Webadmin stopped working from time to time
    34258 (VxLAN) Wifi performance issue after update with separate zone cause a wrong MTU used

    Hi guys,

    I just rolled it out on customers installation today, they have mixed AP15 and AP50's.

    They use a single VMWARE host for running a virtual UTM installation, and there is NO issues at all, the performance on seperate zones networks are good.

    DL: 20.52Mbps and UP: 44:36 (Customers line is at heavy load on the DL side right now, that's why the difference! - but it works - FINALLY it works :-) )

    Maybe my AP50 at home is broken, whereas I do not get this throughput at all here, only 3Mbit....but most important is, that the customers are happy :-)

    UPDATE: I promised to check out, as customers network runs fine with 9.309, but my home network does not, with a AP50 and seperate zone.
    I found out who the bad guy was!

    I have a Proliant Microserver gen8 with the HP PS1810-8G switch on top (a switch made especially for the microserver). Running UTM as a VM with ESXi 5.5.

    I kept getting bad throughput with seperate zone on this setup.

    I used a UTM 120 for testing, same result, I moved the AP50 closer to the UTM, same result.
    I replaced the PS1810-8G switch with a dummy switch, problem solved!!
    I got a new PS1810-8G switch, problem got back :-(
    I have now setup a normal HP 1810-8g (same switch without the PS), because I need VLAN capabilities, problems are all gone, so the problem is the PS1810-8G switch.

    I havew tried to change different settings in the switch, with no luck. The normal 1810-8G switch, works right out of the box.

    Now I have 55/48 dl/ul on seperate zone at home.

    Maybe others having problems with seperate zones, should try a switch replacement (To other model though!)

    The latest working firmware for the Proliant Microserver gen8 running on ESXi 5.5 is 9.307-6. The issue you are having is not bound to the switch.

    Switch is replaced and everything works now, so why not the switch?
