USB nic devices working with UTM 9.3

Hi,

I tried the Trendnet TU2-ET100 but this device will not be configure while installing v9.306.

Any hints for USB adapters found running? Maybe adapters using RTL8152/3 chipset?

That sounds odd to me. If i remember correctly i've been running a NUC device with a Trendnet USB 2 100 MBS adapter as my RED interface all fine that being on vers 9.20***
I can't remember which chipset/driver was actually loaded at boot time but i can dig in that if needed...

I tried a D-Link DUB-E100 (Asix 88772), which is working fine with ie. Ubuntu. 

But UTM 9.306 also does not load any driver modules for that device.

Did you check the availability within the console? I had the problem with the Lemovo USB NIC. It wasn't recognized during installation, but was shown later in the console. And works well with PPPoE with 100MBit/s. The USB NIC is is USB 2.0 with Fast Ethernet.  I'm reaching 96 MBit/s.
On a I5 with 8 GB RAM.

Hi, I have a Startech USB 3.0 Ethernet adaptor and I would like to use it with my newly created UTM 9 on a Toshiba Satellite laptop. Startech provides linux drivers for their adaptor. Anyone have experience/luck getting this or any other USB Ethernet adaptor working with UTM when the drivers are provided?

If I am barking up the wrong tree with getting drivers into the system, can anyone point me to a list of USB NICs that work with the latest (or recent) release?

Installation of 3rd party software, including drivers, is unsupported with the UTM.  UTM has a very limited number of drivers, so a device will either work or not.  Given that this is on a laptop, it may make more sense to run the UTM in a hypervisor than on the bare-metal.
