UTM9 update to Version 9.005-15 failed

Dears,
      I have UTM9 version 9.004-34 , and recently it failed to be updated to 
Version 9.005-15, Kindly find the Live logs when I trigger the update from webadmin :

I restarted the device without solving the problem.
I have software version of UTM9.

    kindly note that when I manually downloaded the update package : u2d-sys-9.005015-005016.tgz.gpg and uploaded it to UTM and start update I still the receive the same errors.
    Kindly note also that the Up2Date messages log messages size is increasing very fast, I deleted it from webadmin interface then after about half hour I found it size increased to 18 M !!!!!.

    I receive a notification through email from UTM today that an update is failed , this is the message:
    "Firmware Up2Date installation failed: Errors during the package installation, installation failed (10)
    Please check the up2date log file for detailed information.    "
    Then my current firmware version is 9.005-15  instead of 9.004-34 as before although the notification of failed update!!!
    After that I suffer from that my web proxy stop working and I opened a thread for that and wait for a reply.

    I tried to start up2date manually from ssh using the below command:
    asg:/home/login # auisys.plx --rpmargs --force and this is the output:

    Searching for available up2date packages for type 'clvbrowser'

      Unpacking up2date package container
      Running pre-installation checks

    Please review the log file for further information.

    and find the log file output from view log file section "not the live log" attached
    - Note that the attached log file is about 6 Mbyte in size before compression although I cleared the log file before triggering the update from the console!!!!

    Mostafa, start by deleting the broken download(s) in /var/up2date/sys and then download again.

    I:
    delete the contents for /var/up2date/sys
    delete the content for /var/up2date/sys-install
    turn off the automatic update download via webadmin.
    in /var/up2date/sys i run :
     wget  ftp://ftp.astaro.com/UTM/v9/up2date/u2d-sys-9.005015-005016.tgz.gpg
    Then run  run auisys.plx 
    but the same error as above one.

    Delete the files in /var/up2date/sys again.  Have you asked your reseller to submit a ticket to Sophos Support?  You might have a broken database.  I don't know if /etc/init.d/postgresql rebuild would fix it, and it might delete Reporting history.

    EDIT 2016-07-12: IN newer versions, the command is /etc/init.d/postgresql92 rebuild

    Rather than forcing the install, I like to do /sbin/auisys.plx --showdesc and then install from inside WebAdmin.  In fact, why not just turn on automatic download and let the Astaro download the Up2Date(s) itself?

    Bob has the right idea, but wrong directory.  Look for the bad rpm in the ohelp9 or ohelp9-install directories and delete it.

    I did not find any rpm files in ohelp9 or ohelp9-install folders in the path /var/up2date.

    Delete the files in /var/up2date/sys again

    I deleted these files again with no results, please note that there is no links in the up2date section in webadmin although there is a notification with two updates available for download in dashboard, so I used the command 
    auisys.plx --rpmargs --force again from shell with same result "Up2Date package installation failed: An error occured during the RPM pre-installation test (1)"

    I don't know if /etc/init.d/postgresql rebuild would fix it, and it might delete Reporting history.

    I fell into the same trap on my testing lab system.
    Clean the up2date directories as Bob and Scott told and use the u2d-sys-9.004029-005015.tgz.gpg update file. This one seems to be the right one for installations from 029 up to 034. After the successful installation use u2d-sys-9.005015-006005.tgz.gpg to install the latest production version.
    That solved my problem, I made the mistake to use every update version, but with 034 it was not possible to update to 9.005015 with the file you have used.
