4.017 and "No valid license"

Hi there!
Theres got to be a first time for everything... And this is the first time I finally have some "problems" with my very nice ASL box....

I have been using the up2date service with total sucess for a very long time now.  But now I upgraded from 4.2016 to 4.2017....  And everything were looking just as great as it allways do....
But... Today when I went through my mail I suddenly se that the ASL hav sent me the "usual mail" but today with the subject "[fw.xxxxxx.se] [INF 055] No valid license. Please contact your reseller". 
The ASL is working perfectly fine so I got no other problem rather than this "angry" message...

I maybe also should mention that I have 2pcs of ASL system up running. One at home for my own private use. And one here at the office which is bought and paid for. And I got the same respons from both system.
So... Is it me who have done something I should not do... Will it happen something bad to my ASL, maybe it will shut down in xxx hours or so...

    Here you have a copy from astaro support try it. That helps me i have no more mail abit no valid licence.

    Counter Error - please contact your vendor or support!

    This is a known issue. It is just a cosmetically problem. You can ignore that.

    The reason for that email could be the automatic pattern/up2date prefetch. For example if you do not have a license that includes the virus-option the firewall tries to download pattern-updates periodically. Because of the missing virus-option in the license the firewall rejects the pattern-update and sends you a notificationemail.
    Solution: Disable automatic-pattern-update if you do not have a license that includes virusprotection.

    Allright! Thanks Mikael!
    It makes me calm again...  The cosmetical matter I can live with as long as the ASL is doing the "right work" for me...
    And if im lucky, it may be solved in the next release...

    As timo said, this isnt' really an issue, since the firewall is attempting to grab an up2date for which it doesnt have a subscription. The only thing that really needs to be fixed is that it should not be possible to turn on the anti-virus up2date without an antivirus subscription at all, but hey, there are other things to work on.

    In short, like timo said, leave AV up2date off if you dont have an AV sub.

    Thanks for this information.
    I did an update this morning and later today the accounting restart, then I got 2 emails about the license not being valid.
    I turned off virus fetch. Seems to work so far.
    I guess having the virus updated everyday is of no use to me if I do not have a license for it.
    But thought I would thank you for the info

    Thanks All. I was experiencing the same problem and was about to contact astaro thinking my licence had expired. It's a great thing when we all work together.

    So the PatternUp2Date is only for the virus scanner? No little updates there for Astaro itself? Meaning, I can switch it off (when not using the virus scanner, obviously) and the firewall would still be as safe as before? 

    Just checking ...

    Yes PatternUp2Date is only for the virus scanner. Not for Astaro itself. If Astaro have an update you will recive an mail about it. So turn off PatternUp2Date

    Thanks for the info - I just got the "No valid license" error tonite after the weekly update.  Turned off the pattern update.
    I really appreciate the forum to get quick answers.

    No problem i have same problem to when i install ASL 4.016 and ASL 4.017 but not same problem with ASL 4.015
