Black list of ip addresses

in any service (web protection and email protection)the ip must be exclude or skip. After that you can block it in firewall.
Doing a group of hosts "example block" with this recommendations, will be easy to add hosts on that group

im not sure i follow since i dont have web protection or email protection (what is exclude or skip)


I would rather avoid making separate definitions for each ip as there are several hundred and they change from time to time. 

I also need to quickly replicate this out to another router so txt would be ideal some sort of cut and paste

DoD gave me a huge list of ip addresses to deny access to or from

Did you know you can filter out all traffic from any specific countries you want?  That might cut your list way down right off the bat.

yes i was aware and its already being used (although I question how accurate it is sometimes)

HOWEVER i have no way of knowing what ipaddresses are on the "china" list or not so it really doesnt do me any good

You need a Web Protection subscription - all of those domain names are listed as "Malicious sites - High Risk."  I checked several of the IPs, and all were "High Risk."  All would be blocked by Web Filtering.

If you have web servers that are available to the public, you should invest in a Webserver Protection subscription.

I'm amazed that DoD publishes such a list rather than provide a service to RBL and anti-malware list providers.  I think that they could save some money by changing to 21st-century technology. [:(]
