web blockking

you can change the displayed message when content is blocked in Management->Customization

Thanks for the idea.....but thats what I mean,that blocking is intended for SMTP or HTTP Proxy w/c you can change the message content and also the header itself.On your part havent tried to surf a sites w/c unreachable and astaro will displayed a message "content blocked"? Confusing right?

Yes, it's a feature request, but it shouldn't be listed as such.  It's not a 'feature' at all - it's a bug in the current code.  There is no 'block' being performed, it's simply the wrong message being displayed if a site times out or is otherwise unavailable.  It's a real problem on my network too - I call it a 'phone call generator' because each and every user who see it believes that I'm blocking access to something they need.

Also, this message can't be modified on the Customization page.  You can only change the real block messages, not this default one.

Once again, imho this IS a bug that needs immediate squashing, certainly it should not be a feature request.

Hopefully Astaro will notice it between the feature requests,

otherwise the best leverage would be a Astaro preferred partner that sends in a bug report... hinting.. [;)]

Hoping astaro could improve and evaluate further that lapses on their part.
