Astaro, Anybody Home?

Dear Astaro,

We have purchased a ASG-110 for a customer (1YR Gold support is included)... but after 24h...no answer yet...

Ok...it was not a vital question... but still...

    Well, it's "official", but don't expect anyone from Astaro to actually read or respond to anything!

    Hey, are you a reseller or just a seller ? we mean this in a GOOD way, it's just ASTARO train resellers to support the product the sell.

    We are a reseller and have done the ACE training. If you are not a reseller, get n to the reseller and get them to help. We have a really good "channel in the UK.

    We have been really impressed with the level of "unofficial" / "official" support this forum gives. - You do know who Gert is ??

    We have had a couple of issues and the answers have been as good as the MAin (Paid) Astaro Support.

    We had a "platinum" support for a client and Astro were fiorst class in Phoning back , both frm Germany and the US as the day got late ...

    Post in the TECH areas, I am sure you will get help, irrespective of the GOLD support you have.

    In the end this is what happened:

    My issue was answered from the astaro partner in switzerland about 3 days later... in the mean time I had contacted Astaro that replied in about 2 days...

    I would say that in this case, the gold support was not honored 
    (guaranteed answer in 4 hours).

    Let's see next time [:)]

    What I understood is that the first level support should be given from the partner...and if they cannot answer, they should pass it on to astaro itself...

    Anyway, in one way or the other...the problem was solved... interesting to know... 50% of the problem was solved by the partner...and 50% by the forum [;)]
