[9.260-8][OPEN] SUM access

Okay I see the difference, I solved it long time ago with readding the UTM, unfortunately i know it's not a good solution ind the end.

we found an issue with UTMs in "Legacy Mode". It seems that if you are in "Legacy Mode" and if you change you UTM IP address the SUM doesn't notice the change.

To get the full scope of this issue and to see if it would fix your mentioned behaviour, could you please provide the IP addresses that is used to connect to the SUM and also to your WAN. The IP addresses of both, before and after your IP address change, would be helpful.

Could you also give us the version number of your SUM.

Please also verify that your UTM currently is in "Legacy Mode" (look at the output of the "SUM Health" area on the UTM Management>Central Management).

my apologies for the delay in responding, I have been working out of Australia for the last week and not had access to my password.

I have checked two UTMs connected to my SUM.
A beta UTM running latest Beta and a UTM running 9.207-18 (upgrades to be done after apple download completes.
Both UTM imply they are in normal mode eg nothing about legacy mode.

I cannot connect to the Beta UTM via the SUM even after the latest UTM beta.

The latest beta doesn't cause the address of the agent to change on the SUM. My SUM is still showing two different addresses for the UTM, both the old external address and the new external address after the up2date package was installed.

Installed 9.270. The SUM reports the new version, shows all the graphs, but does not update the agent IP address.

Next trick will be to turn the utm and modem off for awhile and then see what happens at powerup.

Hello Ian,

could you please verify that in your /etc/location the address in the tag "ipaddress" is also the wrong ip address. Does "iplocator.plx" executed as root return a warning message? Something like the /etc/up2date/servers.sorted shouldn't exist? Could you also verify that?

the UTM shows 124.168.218.216 in the /etc/location file, where as the SUM displays
118.209.80.97 and agent 118.209.3.209.

Hi folks,
this issue appears to have been fixed after the latest up2date package 9.280.

I was able to login to the UTM from the SUM.

Hi All
I just noticed that the reported Public IP in SUM are incorrect for two machines. 1x Beta 9.280-3 and 1x 9.280-3.
On the UTM both show Login for [1] successful.
