[8.173][BUG][OPEN] IPV6 IPs are in Capital letters

Hi,

IPV6 IPs are shown in Capital letters with webadmin. This is not IPV6 conform. IPV6 has only small letters.

The IPv6 formatting is not consistent.
In the reports I have looked IPv6 is formatted in lower case.

Some of the webadmin pages have IPv6 address in upper case and you can't save them in lower case eg network definitions.

Hi maygyver,

RFC 4291 allows upper and lower case characters. RFC 5952 section 4 recommends usage of only lowercase characters, so uppercase addresses are still valid...

RFC 5952 says.

4.3.  Lowercase

   The characters "a", "b", "c", "d", "e", and "f" in an IPv6 address
   MUST be represented in lowercase.

This is what everone is learning, when having an ipv6 Seminar.

Please read a few lines above, section 4:
"4. A Recommendation for IPv6 Text Representation"

4.3 belongs to section 4

BTW: I totally agree that we should follow the RFC and print all IPv6 addresses in lowercase.
But there is no rush for it, because this is a recommendation.

Ok, I interpreted it a little bit wrong.

So please change it in the near future, because it will differ from everybody else.
