[7.091] Firmware Up2Date Installation Failed

I have the same problem here with release 7.086.
This is my up2date.log:

Hi,
Please check your kernel version (uname -a). It should be 2.6.16.43-54.2. 
Please post the content of the file /var/up2date/sys-install/rpminstall_err.log.

Once again, I would love to post that log file but I can't login via SSH. SSH works as I can connect and get a login screen, but the username and pass don't work. Tried both "loginuser" and "root". If it is indeed a partial install of 7.091, which I think it is, how does one go about fixing it? Do a config backup and reinstall form the ISO?

Might be a problem with Putty (I've had this happen on some Linux systems)... try setting the SSH version in Putty to 2 (instead of 1) ... I've had this work before.

Thanks for the suggestion. It was already set to "2". When set to "1" I can't even connect at all. Still getting the error message "Access Denied" when I type in the password for "loginuser".

Can you attach a keyboard and monitor to the unit, and attempt to login as root on the console (no SSH)?  If so, try resetting the loginuser password there...

EDIT: Ended up in wrong thread somehow..

@ReD-MaN: Which problem do you mean, the "cannot login with ssh"- or the "the 7.091 u2d does not install" - problem?

Not sure how my post ended up in here, it was meant for the bittorrent thread, that was where I had clicked reply.

It's fixed. I had to do a full reset on passwords and then reapply them. I logged in through ssh and forced the RPM install and everything is working awesome. Thanks for the help guys.

I even tried the manual method (auisys.plx) and no go.

Well.  Right after posting, I solved it. 

auisys.plx --rpmargs --force 

worked for me!
