Error during install of 2.0 beta

Hi, I want to install 2.0 Beta on my system using a SCSI-harddisk and CD-rom connected to a Adaptec 2940 controller. The CD-boots fine, but during the install it halts and displays the following error after the keyboard layout nenu:

Attempt to access beyond end of device

0b:01 rw=0 want 144564 limit 144562

Any suggestions what's happening here ?

    try the following:

    in the BIOS of the AHA2940 controller,
    &A when aha2940 bios shows a message on the screen during boot, I think it's under advanced, but i'm not shure, change the value for "Support for DOS drives > 1GB"
    from no to yes or from yes to no, it depends what value is now.
