PPPoE Configuration disconnection

Last week I've installed new XG version, I was using Astaro before.

Everything configured as in the past, same line, bt right now i've disconnection of the line, I don't know if i've to set something in LCP options, at the moment are off.

I receive in log RCP time out, port down but after no reconnection.

Hi Jan,

What ISP provider do you have?

Have you checked Log Viewer under System? Does it show any logs for PPPoE down?

I get a lot "Disconnect PPPoE due to LCP timeout".

I have tried different MTU sizes but still is the same.

Have changed MTU size on LAN network to match your WAN MTU size?

I think I found the problem related on new firmware version, tried to go back to old version and no disconnection since yesterday evening!

Hi,

The MTU and MSS parameters should be the same on both sides of the PPPoE link. I have 2 PPPoE links: 300/40 Mbps fiber optic link from local provider and 50/5 Mbps VDSL telecommunication link from national operator. The only PPPoE messages are those at system startup but my logs are cluttered with DHCP messages and I can not show them now. I have XG125 (SFOS 16.05.3 MR-3).
