Access to Home LAN while connected to Work VPN via Sophos

What is the subnet mask for work VPN? if your home LAN & Work VPN subnet does not conflict with each other then you can use both at the same time.

Alternatively, you can change your home LAN netowork to something other than the work VPN.

The subnet masks are unfortunately the same:
255.255.255.0

So I guess the easiest way is to reconfigure the subnet on the home router, correct?
Something like 255.255.255.224

I meant the network and not the subnet.

so for your work VPN if its 192.168.0.0/255.255.255.0 & Home network 192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0 then there wont be any issue. however if your work VPN is 192.168.x.x/255.255.0.0 then you may face challenges.

They seem the same. Home network is 192.168.1.xxx Work VPN 192.168.xxx.x
Some hosts on the Work network seem to have the same IP addresses as I have at home, (they are pingable)

In that case you should change your home network, easier than changing work.

If it's not too much to ask, could you please suggest the changes that I have to make here. If not, then no problem at all!

As I mentioned earlier, my work network has the same subnet and seems that their network pool is pretty vast too.
I assume I have to make changes in these fields, right?

Yes you need to change the IP Address  and Subnet Mask, I would suggest you to use 192.168.20.1 and subnet 255.255.255.0 

Or even you can use 172.16.1.1 255.255.255.0 

As long as you keep away from 192.168.1 subnet you should be fine.

so even if I would have 255.255.255.0 as my home subnet (they have the same one at work) they wouldn't conflict and my home machines would be accessible? 
So only adjusting the IP Pool would be sufficient?

The subnet mask doesn't really matter most of the time what matters in your case is the host IP, in this case, the 192.168.1.

As long as you change the IP address the subnet mask can be anything, just move away from the IP 192.168 and you should be fine.

So even something like 192.168.2.1 would work for you, but just better move to a different network such as 172.16.1.x 255.255.255.0 and you should be fine.
