  • Hi

There is no difference, but this what i am facing within my network that on LAN and Wi-fi Whats-App Desktop App is working but on wi-fi, mobile app is not working. Specially Android to Android devices. I am unable to find the root cause.

  • I've had the same problem with my iPhones...the iPhone app uses different ports when connecting to the What's App servers.  Check the ports in the logs and go from there.

  • Hi Eugenix Hair Sciences,

Please check the reported issue by created bypass rule as per the below snapshot

As per the above rule, the device will have full access to the internet on which WhatsApp is not working.

If Whatsapp works as per the above rule add the security one by one and check where it causing the issue

For example, apply web filter policy then apply application filter policy then apply HTTPS scanning then  IPS policy  if applied and check at which point whatsapp stops working

In case you apply the application filter policy and WhatsApp stop working check the application filter logs under Log Viewer.

    check drop packet capture

    console> drop-packet-capture ‘host <source ip address>
    ex drop-packet-capture ‘host 192.16810.2

    Hope this might help
