LAN Interface not negotiating 1000FD

Hi,

what is 100fd? Are you talking about full duplex? XG home has the same interface abilities as the commercial version.
what are the settings on the XG? What model interface card are you using?

Yes 1000fd is 1gig Full duplex.

The XG is set to Auto Negotiate on the interface and even if i force it 1000 full duplex from the console, then the network port goes dead.

Command used to try and force to 1000fd is as follows "set network interface-speed Port1 speed 1000fd"

I am using Intel Gigabit CT PCI-E Network Adapter EXPI9301CTBLK

Hi,

you should be able to set the interface to auto from the GUI. There is no need to use the CLI. Sounds like you might have a fault cable or the interface device is faulty.
