Email QUEUED

All Notifications from XG Firewall (18.0.5) and Email Tests are being QUEUED. I'm attempting to set up sending using an External email server.

Message: Email has been accepted by Device and queued for scanning

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Sure... I can get the relay working using our hybrid exchange IP over port 25, but i'm trying to make it work with smtp.office365.com and authentication credentials. Do you know if that's possible from this device? Works perfectly fine from other devices i've configured.

    Sophos XG only supports the following authentication methods to authenticate against Microsoft Office 365.

    • PLAIN
    • Digest MD5
    • CRAM MD5 

    Ensure that one of these authentication methods is configured at the server end.

    You may try setting up mail server with the below settings:

    Mail server IPv4 address/FQDN - Port: smtp.office365.com - 587
    Connection security: STARTTLS
