Upgrade XG 210 from 17.5.14 to 18

First of all, you need to use V18.0 MR3.Thats the only version to use. 

V18.0 MR3 will be presented on the Webadmin in the upcoming Days. Upload the firmware should be performed with the "upload & boot" option, if possible. This should reboot the appliance.

I have already tried with 18.0.3 MR-3 with the same results. Pressing "upload & boot" too. Same behavior. The WebGui shows green message with "18.0.3 MR-3 successfully applied...Rebooting" The XG sounds 2 beeps, then after 30 seconds 2 additional beeps. Few seconds after, 17.5.14 firmware still appears on the orange front screen.

Do you have a Support contract? Would recommend to open a Case, as i cannot deal with this without logs.

Was there a resolution for this? I am in the same boat and doing a big upgrade of XG230 firewalls in HA mode currently running v17.5.5 MR-5

You should try to upgrade first your XG to 17.5. MR6 and up I would recommend 17.5 MR14 and then from there try moving to v18.0 MR3

Just want to let everyone know, upgrading  from v17.5.5 MR-5 to v17.5.5 MR14 and then to v18.0.3 MR3 worked as expected. HA did not break and it was a smooth upgrade. All the firmware's mentioned above were automatically recommended by the firewalls using the firmware upgrade builtin feature. SNMP MIB's are broken so there are not many stats such as memory utilization you can pull off the firewall.
