Sophos iView install vmWare Tools

 Hello,

 

is it possible to install the vmWare tools on Sophos iView?

I could not find a way to do that on the internet. Currently the backups fail if the vmWare tools are not installed

    Sure...

    This is the error i get from Veeam backup:

     

    This is how the VM is shown in vCenter:

     

    For comparison. This is how a regular Linux VM with the Open Source VMware tools installed looks like:

     

    Normally the fix would be easy - just log into the console of the Linux appliancel, and update the VMware tools.
    But as there is no way for me to access the real CLI/Shell of the VM, i cannot update/reinstall it myself...
