Sophos 10.3.7 Standalone updates failed

Hello,

I have a new workstation that is not part of the production domain but require Sophos Endpoint on it for firewall and anti-virus. I have installed Saophos Endpoint Protection 10.3.7 with the firewall client but have had constant problems with the auto update. I have it set to "sophos" with the username and password going through a proxy server.

From the logs the server is not getting any updates from the Sophos update server due to username and password authentication issues. I have gone to the web URL's and can confirm that the username and password are valid for getting the updates. 

Apart from the em-web-2.sophos.com/update address, ther are 2 new ones in the log  - 

dci.sophosupd.com and dci.sophosupd.net - I'm wondering if the creditials are not valid for these ones?

    Hello jmorr,

    it looks indeed like invalid credentials. The two new ones are the expected addresses and credentials are valid across all "sites".

    I have gone to the web URL's and can confirm that the username and password are valid

    Which ones? I'm not sure whether it's still possible to check the credentials using a browser. Anyway, these have to be your license credentials and if you copy/paste them make sure there is no trailing blank.
