Kerio connect timeout

Hi

I have just upgraded from Kerio Connect v8 to v9. I have not change anything in the UTM configuration.

The kerio connect server is not busy or offline, does this have anything to do with too short timeout in the UTM. Or what is it?

/Jakob

  • Hi Jakob,

I'm planning to do exactly that same upgrade in a few weeks, so I'm glad I read this.

I've seen Kerio's web interface not play nicely with some anti-virus and other scanning solutions.  Particularly those that meddle with the HTTP(S) connection.  Perhaps it could be related to that if you have them running on the UTM.

    I'd suggest:

    • See if this issues occurs on both HTTP and HTTPS connections (obviously don't leave the HTTP open)
    • Try disabling any anti-virus scanning software on the UTM
    • Do you have the UTM inspecting HTTPS streams?  If so, try turning it off
    • See if this is happening in all browsers
    • And as a last resort, try accessing the login page via a text browser like lynx.  It won't prove much, but will at least tell us if an HTTP(S) stream is getting through
