Thanks for the reply, this is disappointing, I would have thought that this would be a standard feature on a firewall lead product. I will vote for it on the feature request

I didn't see any feature request related to this.  I don't know how you could differentiate between inbound and outbound files inside the Dropbox tunnel.

I haven't tried it, but you might be able to block the Dropbox application and have employees ask for links to the files they want to download.

Packet inspection? Our Cisco Ironports (which our new UTMs are replacing) do this as a selectable action, no need for regEx or the like.  

And point two - too many employees that I'm sure we won't be able to educate!
