Google Nexus tablet doesn't play nice with http proxy

I have a google nexus tablet as an experimental box. While trying to download updates through the web proxy it fails with various messages, the most notable one is host not found. If I disable the http proxy all the updates flow without an issue.

Also, in another thread someone asked about specific virus reporting, to se what the report looked like I enabled it on one of my utms. 
I get a specific virus daily report of two applications from google as containing a virus and being blocked, yet the total UTM daily report does not show any virus as being blocked.

    Just to note that I test with a Nexus 7 all the time and don't have any problems - though of course every device and UTM config is different.

    It sounds like setting up bypass will indeed bypass the problem...  If you ever determine what the underlying problem is, I'd like to hear about it.

    I've a had a loooooong open ticket with support on this..i've even in detail told them how to replicate AND detailed logs..with no response or resolution...if you want to know more pm me.

    a little challenge for you. My Nexus 7 continually tries to download this application even after William has put the bypass in place. The utm sees it as a virus.

    I turned this report on after someone in another thread asked about it, thought I would take a look. As I advised in the opening post, these two virus do not show up in the daily reports.
