Steam issue

We can log into steam but trying to update or install a game comes back with the error "no internet connection" It works if I turn off authentication for the machine, and in the logs I get

I've tried various different regex exceptions but can't get it to work. Turning off authentication for the machine isn't really and option as the machines are used for classes too.

Any regex experts around who would help

    I'm getting an error "Steam needs to be online to update. Please confirm your netework connection and try again."

    I'm getting a series of rejections on the web security. I'll add that I have Steam enabled in application control so as always there's a conflict between the web security and application security rules.  The programers at Astaro/Sophos are lost in the woods on this one.  They can't decide which has precedence and the conflict is completely undocumented and unacknowledged.  My application filter logs actually show stem being allowed once... and the app worked.   A few minutes later, it reverts to web security rules taking precedence and it's broken again.  

    Very sloppy coding in a security appliance leads to this sort of chaos.

    Resolved this issue with another user, a litle bit ago.
    All we had to do was to create an exception for URL filtering for the URLs related to the problem site. but that's just a workaround. there might be an issue with UTM/web filtering itself..

    Can you try to turn on "accessed page logging" and post all URL's that are logged & could be related to this issue?
