[9.004-33][solved]Unable to download files using OSX +safari

Hi All

I am not able to download any files using my MBA (mountain lion with safari Version 6.0.1 (8536.26.14))

The relevant log is

    do a test, make an exceptions in webfilter skip Extension blocking only for your Ip
    because i think isn't UTM fault
    but missing file Extension in your browser

    It wasn't the extension missing as I was able to download other files (same extension). I've rebooted the UTM and issue solved

    same thing happened again(version 9.004-33 this time). Creating the exception did the trick( I was able to download the file). If I remove the exception  (skip everything for traffic sourced from my mac), I get a "download not found" so it's definitely the UTM web proxy

    9.003-16 Home Edition 
    My proxy is in Transparent with Authentication
    I can download the file and I have only exception for my PC to skip Authentication
    and removed "dmg" in "File extension filter"
    Maybe something in URL category Wingman?

    The request go to Utm not the direct url

    Hi Olsi

    First post was without creating an exception. Restarting UTM did the trick and i was able to download then dmg file

    The second case was me trying to download a *.zip file containing an * img file. Without the exception I was getting the same error. Once I've created the exception I was able to download the file (exception was for traffic sourced from my PC ). I was able to download the file immediately. Therefore I think there is an issue with UTM

    if I try to download a *.dmg file from my windows desktop using firefox I get a very strange result. The file is blocked by surf protection but I am still able to download the file (attached)

    I am not blocking that extension anywhere as far as I can tell. There is an issue with UTM judging from the attached picture (File was downloaded fine even though it was "blocked" via surf protection

    disable Antivirus Scanning, just a try...

    disabling the antivirus will allow me to download it so it's definitely something on UTM (more specifically on the antivirus .I was using dual antivirus)

    still having the same issue whilst on Mac(different error this time: client connection closed during scanner run).

    I've created an exception for antivirus and extension so that It can start downloading the file and then remove it and it worked fine...
