[9.004-33][solved]Unable to download files using OSX +safari

Hi All

I am not able to download any files using my MBA (mountain lion with safari Version 6.0.1 (8536.26.14))

The relevant log is

    if I try to download a *.dmg file from my windows desktop using firefox I get a very strange result. The file is blocked by surf protection but I am still able to download the file (attached)

    I am not blocking that extension anywhere as far as I can tell. There is an issue with UTM judging from the attached picture (File was downloaded fine even though it was "blocked" via surf protection
