For single user devices can astaro automatically authenticate?

Hi,
Im running the web proxy in non-transparant mode. 
Im wondering if its possible (for use with ipads etc) to make astaro automatically authenticate them as a specific user?

    Well, kind of...

    An app like AAA for the iPhone/iPad would be an interesting suggestion for Astaro Security Gateway Feature Requests: Hot (979 ideas), and I bet Gert might even want to do that one himself! [;)]

    I think the best you can do is have DHCP assign each one a specific address based on its MAC, and then you can make Host definitions with those IPs and/or 'DNS Static Mappings', depending on what you're wanting to accomplish.

    Can you get the proxy to authenticate automatically based on a host definition? how?
    This would do just what I'm after.
