"Failed to get scanner instance"

Before yesterday I got the error "Failed to get scanner instance" in the web browser from the webproxy. I deactivated the antivirus as a workaround.

Late yesterday, antivirus was working again after the ASG had done a automatic restart, probably due to subsequently errors from other proxy services using antivirus? And I assume that ASG has also download and installed a new antivirus pattern too.

Today I got same error again.

It is the first time ever I have this problem. What can I do in order to prevent it?

    The AV pattern won't update if you don't have AV activated.  The pattern number can change and just skip the AV updates.  Turn on AV and then do a manual update and you should be OK (hopefully!).
