8.103: Office 2010 Social Networks Accounts

Hello. I am trying to use the feature. when i choose the social network and type my username+password i get the message "Invalid username or password". The credentials are correct of course. HTTP/S proxy log reports "url="outlook.linkedinlabs.com/.../html".
i tried the following.At HTTP/s Proxy-advanced-Transparent mode skiplist i included my pc as well as outlook.linkedinlabs.com. i also created a "Certificate Trust Check" exception for IP address 8.12.43.151 which is outlook.linkedinlabs.com.
But still no result. am i missing something?
Any ideas are welcome[:)]
thanks

  • Correct, it should have resolved the problem from the standpoint of the Astaro Web Proxy, but this has no effect on endpoint programs such as browsers which do their own checks as well.

I tested connectivity using browsers.  After implementing the skiplist entry that I walked you through, I was able to access the web page, but FireFox, Chrome, and IE all balked at the certificate presented by the site and I needed to create exceptions in each individually.
