More and more downloaded files can't be scanned.

I am finding more and more files that have some sort of issue when they are scanned.

Secunia's PSI, Download.com - Zone Alarm and a few others I can't think of right now. I had never come upon any until a few weeks ago. Now the number is growing. 

I am only running 1 av right now thinking this was a clam issue... but it does not appear to be a clam issue.

Any idea what is going on?

    Hi folks,

    I googled around and found the error existing since 7.501 : https://community.sophos.com/products/unified-threat-management/astaroorg/f/55/t/44346

    Looks like this is an item existing for a longer period.... 

    However, according to the mentioned issue, I'll have a try to pass unscannable files. That's not the best solution but at lease I can choose my poison to solve the problem ....

    Hi folks,

    no chance at all: I created one exception for download.heise.de to circumvent the virus scanning for that DNS-host, however, as soon as download starts it is handled by passthrough.fw-notify.net which scans the file and - as expected - fails due to errors.

    Apperently with Astaro 7.505 there's no more any option to to pass unscanable files - at least I didn't find it at all.

    Maybe it would be the best to disable av-scanning at the astaro at all and hopefully the local virus scanners detect the virus as soon as it's beeing downloaded to the system....

    By the way: I'm still running a dual-pentium III system which made no problems in virus scanning prior this item. No clue if there are timing problems or whatever....
