More and more downloaded files can't be scanned.

I am finding more and more files that have some sort of issue when they are scanned.

Secunia's PSI, Download.com - Zone Alarm and a few others I can't think of right now. I had never come upon any until a few weeks ago. Now the number is growing. 

I am only running 1 av right now thinking this was a clam issue... but it does not appear to be a clam issue.

Any idea what is going on?

    Yeah, later this week I should have time to look into it more.  I am on staycation, but have a lot of stuff to do around the house... it's late now... bed time.

    if hte file is going to take less than about 10 seconds or so to scan you don't get the intercept page..it just does it in the background.  Unless your file size limit is set low(i run mine at 50 megs) then it'll totally skip things.

    This is what I get for the Hulu desktop tool:

    try putting the http proxy in single scan mode and see if that fixes things.

    It is in single scan mode... it is an issue with Avira.

    Anyone from Astaro have any ideas?

    I have run accross several more scan errors since this post.

    Bump.

    Still having issues with Avira.  Turn off virus scan and the files come through fine.  Can this be reported to Avira?

    I have same issue here..... Fail to download for instance firefox_setup_3.6.6.exe from diffent mirrors and even from download.heise.de where the file is been known as virus free....

    I don't believe this is an signature problem,  look's like the scan engine itself has a problem.

    Downloading the file in the company completes successful - there's an avira scanner integrated, too - however there might be another release of the scan engine.
