Bypass port 80 traffic to http proxy

Hi there. Since we cannot put the http proxy to port 80 I heard there was a way to deal with this and re-route the local traffic on port 80 to http proxy which is port 8080.

But the thing is I want to test now and only with my IP. Anyone knows how to do that? Heard about a dnat rule but i'm not sure.

Thanks,
Jonathan

  • That is what I explained how to do.  If you don't want anyone to be able to get to the Internet, then don't create the packet filter rule I described.
