HTTP proxy QoS

Hi,

I want to reduce the web traffic so is there a way to control the bandwidth of HTTP proxy?
Is it possible only for packet rules?

    Yes it is definitely possible. In the packet filter rule there are three types of allow. Allow High Priority, Allow and Allow Low Priority.

    You must configure the QoS setting on your interface card.

    Infact, If my clients use the proxy service I don't need to define packet filter rules and so I can't control the bandwidth in use.
    Packet filter rules are for forwarding traffic but with proxy the traffic is on INPUT/OUTPUT firewall chains.

    I think that it would have to be a squid configuration for my need...
