user portal & certificates

I would like to increase security by handing out certificates manually to specific users.  Right now, they can log into the User Portal and download the client software with the certificate.  I would like them to continue doing that, but only be able to download the software.  I would then send them the certificate via email.

Is this doable?

    Steve, if you want to provision your users manually, disable the Remote Access tab in the User Portal and then get the complete install package from the 'Users' tab in 'Users & Groups'.  Just check the box beside the user name, click on 'Actions' at the top of the column and make your selection for download.
