user portal & certificates

I would like to increase security by handing out certificates manually to specific users.  Right now, they can log into the User Portal and download the client software with the certificate.  I would like them to continue doing that, but only be able to download the software.  I would then send them the certificate via email.

Is this doable?

  • Steve, if you want to provision your users manually, disable the Remote Access tab in the User Portal and then get the complete install package from the 'Users' tab in 'Users & Groups'.  Just check the box beside the user name, click on 'Actions' at the top of the column and make your selection for download.
