Have VPN listen on both UDP and TCP

Hi All,

we switched our SSL VPN over to UDP, which improved transfer speeds significantly.

Just a couple users sometimes have issues through it since the change, maybe due to their connection (at home).

Could we please have the option to enable both protocols and let the Client then decide?

OpenVPN can definitely do this...

No, you aren't. You can run separate instances of openvpn, but that is going outside of the GUI to manage, not to mention all the other stuff... firewall, routing, etc. Probably easier to run a separate openvpn server, it's not hard and you could use your existing sophos config as a baseline...

Thanks for the reply!

It's a bit sad in my mind, as it's just a limitation of the GUI.

OpenVPN would allow listening on both protocols by adding it to the config file...

Well, no - that is not correct. You would have to have two separate instances of OpenVPN, one for TCP one for UDP. Each would have its' own IP-pool, etc. No, they would be separate.
