Have VPN listen on both UDP and TCP

Hi All,

we switched our SSL VPN over to UDP, which improved transfer speeds significantly.

Just a couple users sometimes have issues through it since the change, maybe due to their connection (at home).

Could we please have the option to enable both protocols and let the Client then decide?

OpenVPN can definitely do this...

There are no answers on the old feature request thread...

Best regards

David

  • No, you aren't.  You can run separate instances of openvpn, but that is going outside of the GUI to manage, not to mention all the other stuff... firewall, routing, etc.  Probably easier to run a separate openvpn server, it's not hard and you could use your existing sophos config as a baseline...
